The Chair SM827, is a version of one of our most popular chairs – it takes cues from classic mid-century design, reimagined with a fresh Scandinavian touch. It becomes SM827 by virtue of the hand-woven seat.
It’s a modern Skovby icon that blends contemporary style with a hint of nostalgia. Designed for flexibility, the SM825 is easy to mix and match with other chairs. Its gently curved back offers excellent full-body support, while the hand-woven seat ensures lasting comfort.

The hand-woven seat version of one of our best-selling chairs, the SM827, is inspired by traditional mid-century design but with a modern Scandinavian twist.
It’s a modern Skovby icon that combines a touch of nostalgia with current design. The SM827’s versatile design makes it simple to combine it with different seats. Excellent full-body support is provided by its softly curved back, and long-lasting comfort is guaranteed by the hand woven seat.
