Designer Dawn Sweitzer recalls traveling through the Blue Ridge Mountains, where the sweeping vista resembled a softly layered watercolor — delicate sky blues, muted greys, and misty tones blending along the horizon. As evening fell, the landscape shifted into a richer spectrum of autumn shades — sienna, sand, and sepia glowing in the fading light.
